On polling day, can a person vote with the consent of that person instead of another person?
No. On the day of poll no one can vote in the name of another even with his consent. If he does so it would amount to impersonation which is an offence.
Can anyone vote more than once? Suppose (accidentally) his name is registered in more than one place?
No, no one can vote more than once even if his name is included in more than one place. If he does so he will be guilty of impersonation.
